If you have read any of my Lucky Dip Club unboxing posts, you’ll know that I love my combo subscription box and receiving a fun pair of socks and pin each and every month.
Well, the LDC has fairly recently become even more exciting with the introduction of the Fri-YAY! surprise. In case you aren’t yet familiar with it, the Fri-YAY! surprise is a surprise that is released every Friday at 8am in limited quantities. This surprise is often a piece of jewellery (think necklace or brooch) that has been collaborated on with an indie designer/maker and is priced at a very reasonable £10.
As I am usually commuting at 8am, I often miss the Fri-YAY! surprise which oftentimes sells out within minutes. This months theme was Halloween and was illustrated and handmade by Heidi Henry Shop. And finally, finally I managed to snag one!
The box arrived on Monday 23rd October but today (a Friday) seems the most appropriate day to share my Fri-YAY! surprise with you…
As with all Lucky Dip Club goodies, the Fri-YAY! surprise arrived in a beautifully colourful box making it feel like a special gift. Inside, the surprise was wrapped in a fun black polka-dot printed paper bag – perfect for Halloween.
The Fri-YAY! surprise was the cutest acrylic pumpkin cat necklace. I love it! The design is adorable, really well executed, constructed and perfect for this time of year.
Leona also very thoughtfully packed some Halloween confetti and sweet treats in to the paper bag as a little added extra.
This was my very first Fri-YAY! surprise and I was not disappointed. The product itself is so fun and cute and I will be getting a lot of wear out of it. I would definitely have paid more than £10 for this piece too so it was also great value for money. Overall I love the idea of the Fri-YAY! surprise and hope to snag a few more pieces.
