Life feels a lot like Autumn lately. I look back and see everything I have left behind – people, places, situations – all fluttering on the breeze like golden leaves destined for the gutter.
But I love Autumn. The first sharp intake of cold air in the morning. Knotting my fingers up in the sleeves of a cosy jumper. Steaming hot mugs filled with pumpkin spice. Filling my pockets with shiny conkers.
In this season there is always something to spark deep joy, despite the loss. And so my life feels a lot like Autumn lately. I look around me and see everything I have to be thankful for. People, places, situations – all burning and glittering like fire on the branches of every tree I pass.
