Today’s Blogtober post is a short but sweet one – I thought I’d share mine and my Mum’s attempt at carving pumpkins!

If you’ve been following my posts throughout Blogtober you’ll know that this year I grew my own pumpkin! (Feel free to check out the post here!) So tonight I had the pleasure of carving the pumpkin I grew. My Mum on the other hand carved a pumpkin that we picked up from our annual trip to the pumpkin patch.

I decided to keep things simple this year; I picked up some plastic pumpkin teeth from the Pound Shop and feel these were quite effective (even thought my pumpkin still looks cute!) My Mum’s pumpkin is the smaller one – I think it looks really retro and she did a great job especially considering this was her very first attempt at pumpkin carving!

Will you be carving a pumpkin this year? Let me know in the comments below!
