If you read my Autumn Baking – Golden Syrup and Walnut Cake post, you’ll know that I’m by no means a baker – but I’d like to be.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Bake Off is giving me all the inspiration. Today I decided to try my hand at another simple bake – an Autumn-inspired apple strudel.
I’m not a baker, but I do enjoy a nice slice of cake and greatly appreciate those skilled enough to bake yummy treats. Although I’m a proficient enough cook, my foray in to baking has taken me as far as burning some misshapen biscuits with my mother when I was much younger.
I don’t know if it is the change of season or the fact that I’ve just started watching Great British Bake Off for the first time ever (let’s be honest, it’s probably the latter) but lately I have really had the urge to try my hand at baking.
