Every now and then Lush will mess with my mind and release one of its products in super-size proportions. We’ve had the giant rose bombshell, the sizeable Mother Earth bath bomb and lavender giant bombshell to name but a few.
When these products drop, I almost always want them because I’m a complete sucker for novelty – anything over-sized or miniature and I must have it. Things have been a little quiet on the novelty up-scaling side of things as of late though. Until what I would consider to be my holy grail of giant Lush products was released – the Big Comforter bar! (more…)
Much to my absolute delight and relief (my bath bomb stash was seriously dwindling!) Lush recently re-opened its online doors. With the re-opening came a huge wave of newness – all in the form of fantastic bubble bars! Bubble bars are some of my favourite products from Lush so as you can imagine, I was very excited to see all of the new designs.
Obviously I couldn’t grab one of everything (but will definitely be going back for more next payday) so instead opted for a good selection of things I thought I might enjoy. As always I picked on design rather than scent – because if I pick solely on scent I would be browsing the ingredients list for far too long and decision making would become a chore! I’m extremely happy with everything I managed to snag so thought I’d share my little haul with you today!
The nights are drawing in, a distinct chill hangs in the air; Halloween is almost upon us and that can mean just one thing – it’s time for a spooky bath.
I am a firm believer that there is a Lush product for any and every occasion. Yes I’m a bit of a Lushie, but you probably already guessed that by now, didn’t you? For todays Blogtober post I thought I’d share with you my Lush Cosmetics Autumn essentials – products which I think are absolutely perfect for the season ahead!
Every year as September rolls around I begin to eagerly anticipate the Lush Halloween range; the glittery pumpkin-shaped bubble bars and ghoulish bath bombs that appear in stores as the spooky season descends upon us.
This year I didn’t have long to wait, with the range dropping much earlier than previous years. Naturally I was in my local Lush, scooping up all the bath-time treats on the day of their release. And truth be told, what better way to kick start the season than with a big ole Lush haul?
When the Lush Kitchen closed its doors back in October I was a little bit heartbroken – better off financially yes, but heartbroken all the same.
You see, the Friday menu releases and the ensuing packages in the post that followed were oftentimes the highlights of my week, and without them my life has felt a teeny bit less exciting (and less gorgeously scented).
Lush Labs is in full swing now but I have to say, for me it has been a slow start; I haven’t yet purchased any of the exclusives simply because none of them have appealed to me in the way Lush Kitchen products did. That’s why, when the Lush Kitchen announced it would be releasing seven (one-off) exclusive shower gels I was probably more excited than is generally considered acceptable.
I was lucky enough to grab four of these exclusive shower gels so today I thought it would be fun (and a bit throw-back) to share my haul with you!
It feels a little weird writing about Easter and even contemplating Spring when it’s snowing outside! But here we are, in the middle of March and once again the Lush Easter collection has rolled around. Today I thought I’d share with you my small haul for 2018!
Nothing gets me more excited for the season ahead than a new Lush release, and the Valentines range is one I always highly anticipate because I never fail to fall in love with the products.
When Lush dropped its’ 2018 Valentines range as pre-release online I knew I had to grab some goodies straight away! So whilst the range isn’t officially in store until the 12th of this month, I already have a selection of bath bombs and bubble bars to share with you today – how exciting! (more…)
Christmas has been and gone, and what a Lush Christmas it was. Between all the wonderful giftsets I received and the Boxing day sales, I am well and truly stocked up on bath time treats for the foreseeable future!
Today I thought I’d share with you the biggest Lush haul I have ever had the pleasure to write!
I have been eagerly awaiting the release of the Lush Christmas line since last year. Not only are the products super fun and festive but they are among some of my all time favourites. During the December months I take the opportunity to stock up on (and stash away) as many of my faves as possible to see me through the remainder of the year.
Today I thought it would be fun to share with you my small(ish) Lush Christmas haul and talk you through some of the must-haves this year!
I adore the Lush Kitchen and everything about it; excitedly waiting for the menu to roll around each and every Friday at 3pm, anxiously waiting to snag a long-awaited exclusive when the Kitchen opens at 8am, all those magical parcels in the post that follow…
So it will come as no surprise that I was, to put it mildly, really upset when the Kitchen announced its closure quite suddenly a couple of weeks back.
I love Halloween. Carefully constructing the perfect outfit, decorating the house, carving pumpkins and, of course, the Lush Halloween range all make this season super-exciting for me. So when I found out that the Lush website and the Oxford Street store were getting their Halloween stock a little earlier than usual, I felt so happy at the prospect of kicking off the season with a splash.
General release for this range is October 6th but that said, I work just two tube stops away from Oxford Circus so of course I was going to pop in for some early treats! Not only did the Oxford Street store have the full Halloween range, but it was blessed with the Christmas range too. An exciting time for me but not so much my purse! I did grab stuff from both ranges (of course) but I shall save the Christmas haul for when I’m feeling a little more festive!
Here’s what I got…
There’s always something a little magical about stepping in to your local Lush, isn’t there? It’s a combination of things I think. The slightly dark, moody spot-lighting, the incredible displays of potion-like skin treatments and wooden boxes stuffed with vivid bath bombs and bubble bars. And then there’s the smell. If you’re a Lush fan you’ll know what I mean. The hypnotic scent snakes its’ way down the street, luring you in from afar…
What could be more magical than that? Well, a Lush with exciting new goodies to discover, of course! So when Lush Lakeside asked me to pop down and have a look at some of the wonderful new products (and some underrated products too) I could hardly contain my excitement.
After a little dry spell of around four weeks, the Lush Kitchen suddenly became very exciting again. What with it being Summer and Wimbledon being on, the Kitchen decided to release lots of fruity/strawberry goodies. As you may or may not know, I’m allll about those sweet scents so these past couple of weeks have been amazing for me!
Here’s what I picked up.
I’m back with another Lush Kitchen UK haul for you today! I haven’t been buying that much (as I’m secretly hoping they will bring out some perfumes in the not too distant future!) But here’s a rundown of all the bath-time treats I picked up in the months of May/June…
